PSSSB Recruitment 2023: Apply for Lab Attendant, Motor Vehicle Inspector and other posts in Punjab from today
The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has announced a recruitment drive for 95 posts of Lab Attendant, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Apiculture Officer, Upper Ranger, Fisheries Officer, Library Assistant, Librarian, Assistant Librarian, Proofreader and Copy Holder. The online application process will start from today, August 28, 2023 and will close on September 22, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualification and age limit for the various posts are as follows:

| Motor Vehicle Inspector | 10+2 with science and 3 years diploma in automobile engineering from a recognized institute |
| Apiculture Officer | Graduate in agriculture or animal husbandry with 2 years diploma in apiculture from a recognized institute |
| Upper Ranger | Graduate in any discipline with 2 years experience in forest department |
| Fisheries Officer | Graduate in fisheries science with 2 years experience in fisheries department |
| Library Assistant | 10+2 with library science from a recognized board |
| Librarian | Graduate in library science from a recognized university |
| Assistant Librarian | Master’s degree in library science from a recognized university |
| Proofreader | Graduate with 2 years experience in proofreading |
| Copy Holder | Graduate with 2 years experience in copy holding |
How to apply PSSSB Recruitment 2023
- Visit the PSSSB website (www.sssb.punjab.gov.in).
- Click on the “Recruitment” tab.
- Click on the “Advertisement” link for the PSSSB Recruitment 2023.
- Read the notification carefully.
- Click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Fill out the application form carefully.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for all the posts is 37 years. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 1000 for general candidates and Rs. 500 for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The fee can be paid online through credit card, debit card or net banking.
